WHAT WE DO

Our Service

We are very proud of our reputation for exceptional service which incorporates the following...

WHO WE ARE

HISTORY

Quick Shade Marketing (Pty) Ltd was formed in 2009 as a Close Corporation to acquire the Quick Shade business, taking over the assets and the staff. The business had been in operation for 8 years prior to the acquisition.

In 2012 the corporate structure was converted from a Close Corporation to a Private Company.

The business was located in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town until January 2014 when we moved to Montague Gardens in Cape Town. The landlord undertook significant enhancements to the premises prior to occupation that have provided us with a superb working environment.

We manufacture and brand a wide variety of indoor and outdoor marketing products, using the latest model digital printers. We use the dye-sublimation process to print on fabrics. Dye-sub printing gives the clearest definition and most vibrant colours available for fabric printing.

We have the capability to print up to 3.2m wide so all large format digital printing is covered.

We also print on PVC and vinyl.

We are proud of our reputation as an innovative company with a service track record that is unsurpassed in the industry. A willingness to develop new ideas for branding is coupled with the commitment to meeting or exceeding clients expectations, no matter how unrealistic they may seem!

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Education: We have a strong belief that education is critical to the development of both the individual and society at large. The benefits of learning apply not only to the individual but equip parents to better educate their children. Sadly the South African schooling system has left a generation lacking in many foundation abilities. With this in mind, we run Adult Basic Education & Training (ABET) courses in both literacy and numeracy for staff members on a weekly basis, during working hours and using independent professional facilitators.

Environment: We are committed to the environment, recycling all waste paper and metal produced in the manufacturing process. We have also recently partnered with E’yako Green to supply them with our waste fabric. This is then used in the manufacture of eco-products such as shopping bags, promotional gift bags, lap-top covers etc.

We have developed a number of products that provide novel ways to use waste, in particular our parasol bases that are covered with rubber made from re-cycled car tyres.

NSRI: We have aligned ourselves with the National Sea Rescue Institute as being an organisation that shares similar values to us: those of community service, volunteerism and education. Every year we contribute products and service to NSRI and Robbie Jacobs, our Production Director, has been a volunteer crew-member of NSRI Melkbosstrand Station since 2008.
